"At House Beautiful we talk a lot about how ANY space can be beautiful—laundry room, pantry, you name it. Nowhere is this more evident, in my opinion, than in Bunny Mellon's potting shed at her garden in Upperville, VA, which she tapped French painted Fernand Renard to completely cover in trompe l'oeil imagery of plants, gardening tools, and her favorite things." "What's not to love about floor-to-ceiling Branquenié? Paired with a simple sisal rug and this incredible canopy bed, it's a dream. And the view out to Givenchy's gardens don't hurt either! I'd like to see a return to the allover pattern look."

She currently serves as Digital Director at House Beautiful, where she oversees digital content and strategy for the brand in addition to working on the print magazine. Before that, she served as the founding editor at Architectural Digest's AD PRO as well as market editor and design reporter for that magazine. She is a proud maximalist and antiques lover who can never resist a good tag sale. "This was one of the HARDEST exercises I've ever done! As someone who gets to look at beautiful rooms all day, it was nearly impossible to pick 5; I decided to go with all historic rooms, since there's no way I could pick just 5 among designers working today." 4. The Green Drawing Room at the Greenbrier
"This room (which was on the cover of HB in 1948!) is such a great example of Dorothy Draper's mastery of color. This rich, hunter green is timeless and so perfect with all the bronze in the room and those incredible, oversized chintz curtains. It even works with a deep red carpet—proof of how spot-on this tone is."
