Acutely aware of her surroundings from a young age, Kara fell in love with all that encompasses a home. For her, it is about creating a soulful backdrop where life's precious moments happen. Kara was raised in Florida by southerners and spent many childhood summers in the Bahamas. It is this fusion of styles that helped form the approachable look she is known for. "To me, the most interesting spaces include at least one vintage, found or sentimental item. I love a lightly layered room. Also, paint can solve a multitude of issues!"
