Coolness curator, fearless artist and founder of LS Slipcovers, Laura Siebert is balancing her punk-rocking early days with her suburban-living, minivan-driving, boy-wrangling newness…and she’s loving every second of it! She is the mother of two superheroes-in-training and is the Hall to her husband’s Oates.
As a former Flamenco dancer and studio owner, Laura learned the value of her own creative vision and that the vision of her peers is a gift rather than a threat. The two can benefit each other. Through improvisational dance and performance, she learned that the solution to all problems, big and small, can be found through becoming centered in the present moment and that the “magic” of a “stage presence” can easily be applied to all areas of life, both personally and professionally.
As a student of special effects make-up artistry, she learned the joy that comes from handcrafting an item from scratch. This is where the American spirit lives.
In her humanness, Laura is constantly learning about the power that comes from living and acting with intention and she strives to put that ideal into every aspect of LS Slipcovers.
She also crafts some bangin’ slipcovers. Her work has been seen in homes all throughout Houston, the Houston Chronicle, Country Living Magazine, the Holly Mathis Blog, Nesting Place blogs and soon in a location near you!

Laura KM has found a wonderful home designing and sewing for LS Slipcovers. She started her journey with LS in 2011 with an apprenticeship under Laura S's tutelage and fell in love with the art of slipcover design. It was quickly found that Laura's attention to detail and enthusiasm for design was a perfect addition to the company.
Creative endeavors have always had a hold over Laura KM's life, from dancing, to drawing, to making clothes. She attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Textiles and Apparel Design from The University of Texas. This background has given Laura a deep love and understanding of fabrics and sewing techniques, which she utilizes in her slipcover designs through specialty fabrics and fashion details.
As a designer, Laura KM loves to dream up eclectic and detail oriented pieces. Her personal design aesthetic combines modern and fun with vintage and unique details.
When Laura is not designing slipcovers, she enjoys impromptu dance parties in the kitchen with her two sons while cooking for her husband, and practicing the art of craft beer snobbery.
