Behind the collection
As a NYC renter for the majority of my adult life, as well as a wallpaper enthusiast, I struggled with the impracticality behind my desire to install designer wallcoverings. Our building didn't restrict wallpaper, so long as you removed it upon leaving, but the sunk cost of the product, installation, and at some point the removal, made it quite an inconvenient commitment. I was also frustrated by the lack of peel and stick options, specifically in the grasscloth category. Texture and color (greys and beiges amassed) never quite lived up to the gorgeous designer wallcoverings I was accustomed to seeing in my favorite spaces. Now as a first time homeowner, who would have no problem covering every wall in our house, a different problem presents itself -- a whole house budget must be considered. Handmade natural grasscloth wallpaper is labor intensive, which makes it very expensive. Enter -- our faux grasscloth collection created with all of the aforementioned in mind! I truly hope you'll love! xoxo, Roxy
